The Non-Profit, Athletic, Cultural Association "Authentic Pheidippides Race" was founded in 2024 with the main purpose of preserving and continuing this historic race. Our mission is to honor Greek history and the athletic ideal, while promoting the values of endurance, noble competition and overcoming personal limits.
The association, understanding the size and weight of this historical and racing event every day, is committed with honor and pride to making every possible effort to stand worthy of the height of history that is its due.
