The organization will continue to support such initiatives of inclusion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For the safety of the athletes, <strong>GPS tracking devices with SOS button<\/strong> will be provided throughout the race. Full medical coverage will be available along the route by <strong>EKAB (National Center for Emergency Care)<\/strong> and <strong>Hellenic Red Cross units<\/strong>. This applies <strong data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"565\">ONLY<\/strong> to the anniversary 10th Authentic Pheidippides Run.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"397\" data-end=\"779\">From future editions onward, the qualifying requirement will be arrival in previous years at Ancient Agora finish line (Mikis Theodorakis Square) within 93 hours.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"1001\">Participation in the route <strong data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"851\">\u201cIn the Footsteps of the Athenian Army\u201d<\/strong> is <strong>optional<\/strong>, and <strong>interest must be declared during registration<\/strong>. During the race, and for reasons of proper planning, the route <strong data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"989\">CANNOT<\/strong> be changed. This means that, if an athlete has declared participation in the route \u201cIn the Footsteps of the Athenian Army\u201d, <strong>HE WILL BE CONSIDERED AS FINISHER ONLY IF HE ARRIVES TO MARATHON<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>COURSE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The route follows the entire ancient road from <strong>Athens to Eleusis, Megara, Ancient Corinth<\/strong>, then towards <strong>Agios Vasileios, Ancient Cleonae<\/strong>, reaching <strong>Ancient Nemea<\/strong>.
